๐ง Ratings are hidden during the draft. This board uses the same score formula; the Scout Report separately reviews your choices.
How the Leaderboard Works
Every completed roster receives a score built from its seeded-season wins and the final offense and defense averages. The board orders those total scores, so a perfect record is not an automatic first place when another roster's side ratings are much higher.
Classic and Gridiron IQ have separate boards, because drafting blind is a different challenge that deserves its own ranking. Use the filters to switch between today's board and the all-time hall.
How a result is ordered
The score is round(wins ร 50 + offense ร 1.5 + defense ร 1.5). The server sorts by total score descending, then by earlier submission time when scores tie. This is one additive formula, not a wins-first ranking: side ratings can change the order even across different records. Grade is separate and depends only on wins. The Methodology page publishes the model constants and replacement value.
| Place | Record | Grade | Why it appears here |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 18-2 | A | 18 ร 50 + 87 ร 1.5 + 90 ร 1.5 = 1,165.5, rounded to 1,166 |
| 2 | 18-2 | A | 18 ร 50 + 91 ร 1.5 + 84 ร 1.5 = 1,162.5, rounded to 1,163 |
| 3 | 17-3 | B+ | 17 ร 50 + 90 ร 1.5 + 90 ร 1.5 = 1,120 |
Today versus all time
Today shows the current Eastern Time challenge and is the quickest way to compare a shared seed with friends. All Time shows the best completed runs retained for that mode. Empty boards are a valid starting state, not a missing page: the first completed roster creates the first row.
Only completed submissions are ranked. Nicknames are optional public labels, and a result link opens the saved roster without exposing private account information. For the model, source policy, and correction history, read the published methodology and NFL guides.
A tie-break example
For two 18-2 runs, Run A at offense 91 and defense 84 scores 1,163; Run B at offense 87 and defense 90 scores 1,166. The second roster ranks higher in this example because its side ratings sum to 177 rather than 175. A 17-3 roster at 90 on each side scores 1,120. These are arithmetic examples using exact inputs, not submitted user results. If total scores tie, the earlier submission ranks first.
Today, all time, and a short delay
Today is bounded by the Eastern Time daily reset. All Time is the retained completed-run view for the selected mode, not a list of every attempt ever made. The page may be briefly behind a fresh submission because the edge cache is intentionally short-lived. A missing row after submitting is therefore a timing issue to recheck, not evidence that the run was silently changed.
What a ranking can and cannot prove
A leaderboard row proves that a completed game result was submitted with the displayed mode, record, grade, and score. It does not prove that the nickname identifies a real person, that the fictional opponent represents an NFL game, or that the editorial player ratings are official. Classic and Gridiron IQ remain separate because visible ratings and blind recognition measure different behaviors.
